PERSONALIZED PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical therapy should be just as unique as you. Wauconda Care features a full range of customizable comprehensive services, all of which place an emphasis on communication. We’re here to help you through any injury, and get you back to your former self.

A DEDICATED TEAM OF PHYSICAL THERAPISTS

Our skilled and encouraging professionals love their jobs and it shows. A physiatrist – a specialist in medicine and rehabilitation – will jump start your physical therapy and help you throughout the healing process. Our entire team is passionate about transforming your goals into accomplishments, and they make each session an enjoyable experience.

TRANSITIONAL REHABILITATION THERAPY THAT FITS YOUR SCHEDULE

Other facilities only offer rehabilitation therapy five or six days a week. Not Wauconda Care. With more than 10 full-time therapists on staff, we can provide on-site service seven days a week, and our focused approach improves your skills and reduces pain at a faster rate.

A SENSE OF SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT

Within our community, it’s easy to maintain a social circle. You can find new friends and meet in small groups in our cheerful Town Square gathering space.

A COMMITMENT TO CARE AND QUALITY

At Wauconda Care, we are devoted to providing each patient with the best possible patient experience through hard work and dedication. We also provide multiple amenities such as aromatherapy, a nightly leisure cart filled with treats, and even a Happy Hour Social. We are honored to be a multiple-time recipient of the Joint Commission Certification, and we hold a Five Star Validation from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

A TRACK RECORD OF POSITIVE OUTCOMES

A key reason to choose a rehabilitation facility is to reduce your risk of further injury or infection, which could lead to a re-hospitalization. Ninety-nine percent of our patients return home after a rehabilitation at Wauconda Care. If you encounter an unavoidable setback in your recovery at home we can coordinate with your doctor and the hospital for readmission to Wauconda Care.
